Drywall, Gypsum Board, Wallboard, Plasterboard… No matter what you call it, it is still awful.
It is certainly better than the previous Lath and Plaster method, but it still takes the fun level of constructing something down a few notches…

Spent all day sorting, moving, packing, sweeping the soon to be nursery..
Sad part is we have to make a mess again with drywall, trimming the windows, and paint..

Its good to have clamps, the 6” Quick-Grip Mini’s are super and duper.

Last summer, just before all the festivities, we built a deck… (ok, 3 decks)
I opted to try the Dek-Block Pier Floating Foundation Deck System, since I was running out of time and energy, and could not bear to dig any more holes.
I wasn’t sure about a floating deck when the ground moves so much in the winter here, but fortunately it looks as good as it did last summer..

Well I am pleased to announce that the Sovtek is kicking again..
This overhaul has been way over due.. It’s probably been 10 years since some of those knobs have been working (though it has always sounded pretty good)…
I really don’t ever remember it being this loud though…

Today’s project was to replace all the potentiometers and jacks on my Russian built Sovtek Mig-50.
Wow, what an undertaking, still not done, but I will not let it beat me…
I now understand why amp repair is so expensive..

Today Rachael had her Ultrasound and we found out we are going to have a baby Girl!!
Everything seemed to be in order and all is well.
We had to call my Grandma Stella to get the go-ahead before we announced her name…

Dads 56 Ford Fairlane he has been working on for awhile..
This car was winning trophies before they tore it apart to re-do it..
At least there will be a little Mountain Dew green on it…
